Antique tea and coffee set complete with milk jug and sugar bowl partially hand-engraved with bands of vegetal-themed decorations at the bases and at the mouths recalled in the center of the bodies like frames that surround the octagonal medallions bearing the family's heraldic crest inside them of belonging with its motto which reads: “Timor ominis abesto” belonging to the important Scottish Clan of Macnab.
the set consists of four pieces perfectly preserved. Each piece is hallmarked and signed by Atkin Brothers, with the hallmark dating back to 1868.
The excellent and meticulous chisel work underlines the skill and refined taste of the manufacturing and its rigorous shape highlights the modernity of the design.
Made in Sheffield plate in the city of Sheffield between 1868 and 1890.
Each piece that composes it is absolutely original and authentic of the time and no modifications or restorations have been made that could have changed its structure or model.
The internal silvering and gilding are also original.
