Rare centerpiece plate designed by Christopher Dresser for the Linthorpe Pottery, a pottery factory that collaborated with Dresser to produce his designs under the direction of Henry Tooth between 1879 and 1892.
The plate is decorated with a flowered and leafy border in the colors of turquoise, yellow and olive green.
The legible signature of Christopher Dresser, the monogram of Henry Tooth and the design number 299 are imprinted on the bottom.
A similar plate is present in the British Museum in London.
