Important silver cruet designed and made by Frederick Elkington in London in 1854.

Two female masks stand out at the base which rests on four curled legs and develops like a ship, with a vertical handle and six slots for the crystals.
The futuristic elements act as a counterpoint to the classic style, giving the model style and refined sophistication.
On the sides, two acorns symbolize fertility and strength.

Each piece bears the maker's mark of Frederick Elkington, London hallmark of 1854.
