Rare cigarette case with built-in match holder, made of 84 zolotnik silver in Moscow in 1880 as per the marks impressed inside. The box has a hole through which it can be tied around the waist with a lace. Worked in giilloché in the round with a frieze on the front. The match holder is covered by a hinged, knurled lid for striking matches.
