Rare model of silver sugar shaker with octagonal body, base and openwork lid, made in London in 1716as per the marks impressed on the bottom of the body and on the lid. This model born in the first ten years of the 18th century remained in production for the following three centuries given its elegance and beauty. Its rarity lies in being an example among the first born with this octagonal shape which still resists today in the production of classic styles.
