Bourbon brooch from the mid-19th century made in central-southern Italy in 9 carat gold. The thick and solid structure is enriched by an open edge along the entire perimeter and acts as a further reinforcement. The entire surface design is enhanced and illuminated by small beads, larger beads in some branches and next to the luminous red glass paste. We remember that the joys of this period were traditionally illuminated by glass pastes.
The brooch could not be missing from these jewels as it had a practical as well as decorative function. He closed the collars of shirts or fixed veils and handkerchiefs.
